Physician’s Formula has some of the best bronzers you’ll find at the drugstore, cute packaging, and amazing quality at affordable prices. When Kathleen Lights, a popular beauty vlogger on YouTube mentioned how much she loved their new Butter Bronzer, my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to pick one up for myself to test out for you guys. I got mine at a Duane Reade pharmacy by my job and it was literally the last one, which is a good sign that it’s probably a decent buy if it sold out so fast. This product comes in only two color ways (which sucks for darker skin tones) – “Light Bronzer” & “Bronzer”. In my opinion, both are pretty light, there’s not much of a difference between the two so I chose “Bronzer” because it was a tad darker, I couldn’t picture going any lighter than this for my medium skin tone. The packaging on this specific bronzer has got to be one of my favorites yet from Physician’s Formula. It has an adorable tropical green, yellow & purple theme. In tune with this tropical theme, the bronzer has a very strong coconut smell, like you just stepped onto a beach! I happen to love it, but if you hate scented products, look the other way, this is not for you! You can smell the coconut scent even before you take the product out of the box! In regards to the formula and quality of this product, I give it an A+. The texture of the bronzer is buttery smooth (both creamy and soft), which makes it glide onto the skin beautifully. It’s also easy to build up if you want a more contoured effect. It gives the perfect wash of color to pale skin. The product is infused with a blend of Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter and Tucuma Butter, straight from the Amazon to help condition the skin. It also comes with a mirror and sponge applicator right under the bronzer itself, but I usually never use those, I like using an actual makeup brush to apply. I am hoping Physician’s Formula will add on more colors to this new line of bronzers so it can also cater to tan and chocolate brown skin tones. That’s really the only fail this product has in my eyes. If you are of fair to medium skin tones and find it at your local drugstore, I say pick it up ASAP!
