Lately, I have been very impressed with new makeup items NYX has been rolling out. Not that I wasn’t a fan before, but you can definitely see and feel a difference with the quality and formulation of their products in comparison to items they came out with just a few years ago. With that being said, I have to really commend them on stepping their game up and continuing to create amazing makeup while keeping true to the affordability we come to expect when buying NYX products. One of my recent faves has got to be their “Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette”. I was given this beauty at a recent NYX event I attended, and I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve fallen hard for this little baby. I was so happy to finally get my hands on it at the event since I tried to personally purchase this item several times, but it was always sold out online and in-store. This palette comes with 7 velvety smooth powder highlighters, yes you heard right – 7 pans of glowy goodness! The top row has 4 smaller sized pans of highlighters and the bottom row has the 3 larger pans. The great thing about this palette is that it covers an array of different skin tones with the many color selections. Ranging from a champagne gold to a true yellow gold to even a lavender highlight, both my fair and chocolate brown colored ladies will both benefit from this little gem! And because of the 7 shades included, it’s a fantastic palette to have in your kit if you are a freelance makeup artist. The pans are in-housed in a medium sized shiny black plastic palette with a clear top which makes it easy to see what’s inside. It kind of reminds me of the z-palette layout without the magnet lol. Once you own this palette, it’s so hard not to dip your brush in and cover your entire face with these powders, it’s just that good! I suggest you get it while you can, this palette sells out very fast!
