After many suggestions from some of my favorite You Tube beauty vloggers, I finally purchased Kat Von D’s “Ladybird Eyeshadow Palette” at Sephora this past week. The palette consists of 8 beautiful and varied matte eyeshadows with a brown colored eye pencil liner that can easily transition from day to night. These shadows have great pigmentation and barely any fall out. I can honestly say this is a purchase I am not disappointed with. I’ve actually been a fan of Kat Von D’s makeup line for a very long time. Her Tattoo liner in “Trooper” is one of my absolute holy grail favorites. So it wasn’t a surprise to me when I fell in love with this palette. The packaging alone is punk rock chic and stunning. The only issue I had with this item was that the shadows were a little on the dry side and can get a bit patchy if not blended well, but if you use a proper primer and the right eyeshadow brushes, the colors can be very long lasting. The shades I keep reaching for have the double stars (**) next to the name below. In my opinion, this was a definite good buy and addition to anyone’s makeup collection!
