I don’t even know where to begin when discussing all the goodness that lies within the new ABH x Mario “Master Palette” Collab. This baby is by far the best eyeshadow palette to come from the Queen of Brows since her earlier palette release this summer, “Modern Renaissance”. Now if you know me and have been following my blog for a while, you pretty much know how much of a fan I am of ABH’s palettes. I have several in my collection whether eyeshadows or glow kits, she can do no wrong in my eyes. I have yet to find a palette from Anastasia that I truly don’t like and abuse on a weekly basis. I was extremely lucky to find this palette on my last trip to Sephora for their VIB Rouge sale, there were literally 5 left in the entire store, so I snatched this puppy up within 2 minutes of walking through the door and making eye contact LOL. Especially because this palette has been so hard to find and has SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE! You guys, even my PR contact for ABH didn’t have any samples left to give out for review purposes, it’s that crazy limited. If you can find it anywhere online or in-store, please don’t hesitate to purchase it.

Why are people (me included) going gaga over this palette? Allow me to go into detail; this palette was made in collaboration with Mario Dedivanovic, a celebrity makeup artist who has been on a steady rise since 1^st working with “The Wife of Pablo” herself, Kim Kardashian in the mid 2000’s and has become her go-to artist. Since then, he has perfected the signature Kim K. look she is known for today. Mario basically initiated the contouring craze we all love when we discovered his magical chiseling ways on Kim. He has quickly become a trail blazer in his field. Who better for ABH to collaborate with than him? A true hard-working makeup pioneer who was proudly raised in the Bronx, NY! The palette features 12 neutral and jewel-toned shades that span both mattes and metallics. You will find chocolatey browns, stunning bronzes, eye-catching golds and a beautiful olive green and gunmetal shade that are bold, but wearable. These shades will easily complement and enhance any skin tone or complexion. When it comes to formula, this palette has honestly exceeded my expectations. The shadows are rich, creamy and extremely pigmented. They are effortless to work with and glide onto the eye like buttah! They are also long-wearing and don’t crease. None of the shadows are chalky or dry. There is little to no fall-out once these shadows are applied to the lid and crease. Packaging is standard ABH cardboard with an inside mirror and dual-ended brush making it excellent to travel with and store amongst other palettes. The “Master Palette” has quickly become a favorite and in my eyes, tied with the “Modern Renaissance Palette” as the best eyeshadow product ABH has ever launched thus far. Well worth the $45 price tag 🙂
