Hi Guys,
With the holidays fast approaching, I’d like to share a fun way to jazz up your makeup for upcoming events. The Urban Decay “Heavy Metal Glitter Liners” which are a cult fave and a classic product for the brand, add a touch of sparkly glam to any eye look. Each 0.25 oz clear tube contains a superfine glitter in a clear suspended base that dries down quickly and is long-lasting once applied. You can wear it alone, apply it over your favorite Urban Decay eyeshadow or layer on more than one color for extra intensity. The gunmetal top when twisted open has a thin tipped brush that is very precise and makes it easy to create fine lines. You can use the side of the brush to sweep glitter over your lids or remove the wiper (the piece that controls how much product comes out of the bottle) for an even bolder jewel-like look by tapping it on with your fingers. You also never have to worry about these liners feeling dry on the skin. They contain peach and cucumber extracts that condition and smooths the skin. What I like most about these particular liners is how buildable they are. You can go from zero to a hundred real quick. I personally love having that option especially when you are transitioning from a day to night look. I do hope that Urban Decay adds more shades into this line of glitters. As of right now they only have 7 colors to choose from and I already have 4. My favorite one is “Midnight Cowboy” (pictured below), it’s the perfect yummy gold tone. The swatches don’t really do these babies justice; they are much better in person and once applied onto the eye. For a more affordable option since these little guys run at $20 each, NYX Cosmetics does have a similar set of glitter liners for about $5 each. If you can, invest in the Urban Decay ones as I do prefer these over the NYX ones 🙂
