New Anastasia Beverly Hills “Stick Foundation” Review + Swatches!

Hi Everyone,

One of my favorite high-end brands Anastasia Beverly Hills has finally come out with foundation people! Yes, you heard that right, foundation! Their new cream stick foundation is available in 30 shades (a shade for each skin tone) and is ideal for combination to oily skin types. It’s great for makeup artists who want to have a large foundation color selection to choose from when attending to their clients. This product provides a very natural matte finish and the coverage is build-able to be medium to full coverage. The ABH stick foundation isn’t as pigmented as let’s say the Make Up Forever one, but it definitely gets the job done especially because it’s so easy to layer onto the skin. I also love the fact that they are packaged in lightweight shiny plastic tubes that are perfect for travel and on the go touch-ups throughout the day. Their multi-tasking formula can be used for all-over coverage, highlighting and contouring. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines or sink into pores. I also liked the fact that this is a no transfer foundation, so you can touch your face after applying and it won’t get all over your fingers/hands. On my normal to combo skin this product worked very well and was long-wearing on all areas of my face with the exception of my nose. For some strange reason no matter what primer I used, the foundation separated on the sides of my nose, has this happened to any of you who have tried it? Definitely isn’t the only stick foundation I’ve used where I’ve encountered this same problem. With that said, I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing some liquid foundations from ABH in the near future, being their first crack at foundations, I believe they did a decent job!

  1. I have been dying to purchase this product but the shade I need happens to be sold out everywhere and including online. Glad to hear it works well especially for the good cost.
