I thought it would be fun to start bringing back some Fashion related posts to the blog and what better way to start than with some of my Current Faves. I absolutely love shopping for Fall items. Everything about this season, from the colors, the over-layering and the use of leather within different shoes and accessories brings nothing but utter happiness to my Fashionista soul. Below are items I recently added to my wardrobe that I believe will also be great additions to your closet. Right now, I am loving anything studded especially with my bags and shoes! I found the cutest little backpack from Bebe while shopping at TJ MAXX this past weekend for only $35 people! The price point kicks ass when comparing to other higher end ones saturating the market that retail from anywhere between $300-$2,000. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it I just had to share. Bebe is still selling this beauty on their website, but at the full price of $69. You can still check your local TJ MAXX and see if by chance you find this baby in the handbag section. For the colder months, I also enjoy high quality leather booties; I found some gorgeous ones by Choies for only $140 that will make you rocker chic within seconds! These booties are almost identical to some Miu Miu ones that came out in Suede last winter at a much heftier price tag. These shoes go easily with anything, whether you feel like wearing a white tee and dark skinny jeans or a cute little velvet slip dress and tights for a night out, they will amp up any outfit.

Now taking it back to the 80’s, I found the most stunning pair of Vintage Celine Clip-On Earrings. If you know me, you know I thoroughly enjoy searching for vintage pieces. I think they can really add some old school class to your ensemble especially in Gold Hardware. Where did I stumble across a pair of these hard to find earrings you ask? On Etsy! That’s right folks, Etsy has a huge vintage marketplace and many of the items are still in good to excellent condition, you just have to look patiently and carefully! Mine cost about $110 and the seller I bought them from has one more pair left if you’re interested (they go for $145 – linked below). Jumping into my most beloved accessory, the one I can’t leave home without – my sunglasses! The Quay x Desi Perkins “High Key” Aviators in the gold colorway is all I’ve been wearing lately. I own many Quay Australia sunnies, but these are the pair I wear the most. Quay’s sunglasses are both fashionable and well-priced. Not to mention that they also sell an array of different styles and colors to suit your face shape and personal taste.

And lastly, two cold weather accessories that are a MUST for me – large over-sized scarves and baseball caps! There’s nothing I enjoy more in the cold NYC months than wrapping myself in an over-sized scarf. Not only do they keep your neck warm, but they add some pizzazz to a rather basic outfit. The plaid one in the photo below from Old Navy is perfection and the color I chose to go with matches a multitude of items already in my closet. As for hats, I’ve been obsessing over baseball caps this season. I’ve stolen so many from my husband to wear for myself it got to the point that I just had to go out and buy my own so I could stop “borrowing” his LOL! I love wearing caps when I’m too lazy to fuss with my hair or when I’m in a rush to get out the door in the morning. H&M has some really great ones they just released and when I saw this Velvet one (pic below) I just had to have it! It satisfies the tomboy in you, but maintains a girly touch with their choice of incorporating velvet fabric. And for just $12.99, you can’t go wrong! What are some of your fall must-haves?
