REVIEW & SWATCHES: HUDA BEAUTY “TEXTURED SHADOWS PALETTE – ROSE GOLD EDITION”!

I’m very excited to be talking with you guys about Huda Beauty’s new eyeshadow palette! Huda Kattan is one of the Top Beauty Influencers on Instagram, YouTube & within Dubai in general. She slowly started launching makeup products (liquid lipsticks & lip liners) earlier this year after successfully selling a lovely line of lashes the last few years in Sephora’s all over Dubai and most recently in The United States via Sephora online. Her 1^st attempt within the palette world is beyond triumphant in my eyes! I have been absolutely obsessedddddd with this palette since I got it in the mail 2 weeks ago. It’s all I’ve been using on my eyes! Whether to go to work, an elegant affair like a wedding, or on a night out, this has become a solid go-to product for me. The “Rose Gold Edition” Palette has the perfect combination of textured, pressed pearl and matte eyeshadows. The six textured shadows in the palette are BEAUTIFUL and remind me of Colourpop or Dose of Colors eyeshadow consistency, but a little denser. These shadows are best applied with your fingers than with a brush in my humble opinion. The two pressed pearl shadows are creamy, pigmented, provide an excellent shimmer sheen and blend so easily (I wish there were a few more of these in the palette). And lastly, the 10 matte shadows featured in the palette blend incredibly well, they are finely milled and don’t contain any talc (for my health conscious junkies out there LOL!). Packaging is slim and very sleek, it’s made out of black cardboard with a clear plastic cover that flips open (no mirror, but I don’t mind it), similar to a z-palette (which I happen to love). The shadow names are also conveniently and clearly located right under each pan. This is for sure another palette that is great for on the go or when you’re traveling on vacay! On a final note, I think this little baby is worth the high price point. The quality of these shadows alone will be worth your while especially those textured eyeshadows!
