Makeup Geek x Kathleen Lights “Highlighter Palette” Collab!

Hi Guys!

I’m so excited to finally talk about a new favorite product that launched last month in collaboration with one of my favorite Latina YouTube beauty guru’s, Kathleen Lights! The Makeup Geek x Kathleen Lights “Highlighter Palette” is full of pure gorgeousness and I just had to share my opinion. The palette holds 3 rather large pans of cruelty free, talc and paraben free product that scream COME USE ME IMMEDIATELY! The three shades in the palette are all beautiful and can complement many different skin tones. There were some complaints that the highlighters seemed too dark, but in all honesty – they swatch and apply onto the skin a lot lighter than they appear in the pan. The three shades included are “Nightlight” an absolutely lovely light gold (my fave), “Starlight” an amazing rosy pink and “Sunlight” a stunning soft copper color. The formula and consistency of each highlighter match perfectly and these babies blend effortlessly onto the key highlighting points of the face. I heard that when Makeup Geek created this palette, they followed a similar formula used on their foiled eyeshadows. It would definitely explain the highly pigmented sheen, blend-ability and overall staying power of these highlighters. The packaging is also beautiful and very Art Deco. The slim black cardboard and rose gold lettering as well as the simple design esthetic, make this palette very easy on the eyes and travel friendly. This is yet another Makeup Geek product that kicks ass and maintains a reasonable price point. To compare, a Becca highlighter with a similar size pan (just circular shape instead of a square) is about $39 each – this palette with three pans retails for the same price! You can’t beat it, order one if you can ASAP!

*This palette retails for $39.00 (all 3 pans)*

“Nightlight” – Light Gold

“Starlight” – Rosy Pink
