Happy Fri-Yay Everyone!

Today, I want two discuss 2 drugstore makeup items by L’oreal that have been the talk of the town in recent months, the “Infalliable Pro-Matte & Pro-Glow” foundations. Now, I was able to get both of these over a month ago at my local Duane Reade pharmacy for half off the retail price each – so as you can see, I have been testing them out for quite some time and have formed a pretty solid opinion. The pro-matte is a pretty nice medium coverage foundation with a demi-matte finish just as the name implies. The high water content provides maximum comfort. It also contains shine defy blotting spheres that instantly absorb sweat and oil without disturbing the color pigments on the skin. The pro-glow is also another medium coverage foundation by L’oreal that offers long-lasting wear with a beautiful hydrating glow. Its light-weight and creamy on the skin and goes on very smoothly. It hides imperfections like a champ and has SPF which is great for both normal and dry skin types. Both lines of foundation provide a great color selection range and their prices are still considerably reasonable in comparison with similar higher end medium coverage foundations found at Sephora or Ulta. The foundations are also easy to work with and blend into the skin like butter. The two share the same plastic squeezy tube packaging which make them easy to take on the go or while traveling. And lastly, both products are supposed to have “24-hour wear” – this wasn’t the case for me at all haha! My normal skin type prefers the pro-glow foundation against the pro-matte. I enjoyed the semi-dewy finish it provides and believe it or not, it actually lasted longer on my skin than the pro-matte!! Anywhere between 10-12 hrs to be exact with usually 2 touch ups on my oily t-zone throughout the day. Have you guys tried these awesome drugstore foundations?
