Anastasia Beverly Hills “Illuminators” – Review + Swatches!

Happy Monday Loves!

I was recently sent some Anastasia Beverly Hills “Illuminators” to test for you guys and it’s honestly been love at first swipe! The ultra-fine, silky soft formula provides the perfect lit from within look and has very little fall out. These highlighters have more of a pigmented sheen effect on the skin rather than a shimmery/glitter-filled mess like some others in the market. The illuminators come encased in a shiny black plastic mirrored compact (great for on the go touch-ups) and the powder itself is imprinted with a beautiful eye-catching design. The 3 colors I received are “So Hollywood” (everyone’s favorite) a shimmery gold/bronze shade, “Peach Nectar” a warm rose gold/peachy shade & “Riviera” a sun-kissed coppery shade. All three colors are consistent in regards to quality, formula, longevity and performance. Each is lovely in its own right and will compliment many different skin-tones. My favorite way to apply this highlighter is by spraying my brush with a little setting spray or MAC fix + and then dipping that same brush into the product then onto the skin to achieve that ultimate shine. If you wish to skip this step, the powders are pigmented enough to apply directly onto the skin with no issue. Do you have a favorite illuminator you can’t be without? Let me know in the comments! I still need to try out “Starlight”; it’s the only one I’m missing! Can’t wait to get that one!

*These illuminators retail for $28.00 each*
