Hey Guys,
One thing Anastasia Beverly Hills does well besides her outstanding brow products, are her other powder based items. Her eye shadow palettes are some of my favorite in the business. I was very excited when she decided to come out with single eye shadow pans. Nowadays, I strongly prefer single shadow pans because they’re more cost effective and they’re easier to organize in a handy magnetic z-palette reducing clutter from you’re vanity space. I think what I love the most about these particular eye shadows is the array of colors and finishes she has available including shades from her previous palettes. You can choose from ultra-matte shadows to shimmer or titanium for the ultimate perfected shine. The formula and quality of her single shadows are just as good if not better than the ones in her palettes. These babies are finely milled, pigmented, super soft and highly blend-able. The ultra-fine formula won’t leave any shimmer fall-out around the eye area and when paired with a good eye primer, the shadows will last all day long without fading! My only issue with these shadows is the price point; I do feel like $12 for each pan is a little expensive. Even MAC reduced their single eye shadow prices from $10 each to $6 to compete with indie brands out there like Makeup Geek. If they’d be willing to bring the prices down just a tad, then they would get 5 out of 5 stars in my book!
