Happy Saturday Babes!
What better way to start the weekend than talking about an awesome beauty launch that’s an absolute highlight junkie’s dream come true? Here in all its wonderful illuminating glory is round two of the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Collaboration which I ordered through the Sephora App, the suitably titled “Champagne Collection Face Palette”. Included in the palette are 3 blushes and 2 pretty large sized highlighters. First, We have a lovely pink shimmer blush “Rose Spritz” that reminds me of an even better/upgraded version of NARS “Orgasm”. This blush has a beautiful sheen that would look gorgeous on freshly sun-kissed or tan skin. Its very pigmented to the touch as with all Becca powder products. Second, we have “Amaretto” the deepest shade out of the three blushes, this warm matte color is my favorite. Its deep enough to be used as a wash of bronzer on the skin or as a blush when used lightly on the apple of the cheeks. Third up, “Pamplemousse” another gorgeous deeper colored matte pink shade. The pigmentation on this one is out of control! When I say you only need to softly tap your brush on “Pamplemousse” for instant color pay-off, I mean it! With this shade, you have to be careful not to grab too much product because you can get a clown face real quick haha! Fourth, we have the original classic highlighter that started it all, “Champagne Pop” – I’m sure if you love highlighters as much as I do, you already have this baby in your collection from when it launched last year. This highlighter is a soft white gold shade with a pinky peach undertone that is to die for! If their “Opal” & “Moonstone” shimmering skin perfectors had a baby, it would be “Champagne Pop”. And lastly, we have the newest addition to the “Champagne Glow” family – “Prosecco Pop” a medium warm gold highlighter inspired by actual liquid gold. This color is gorgeousssssssss and perfect for darker skin tones. If you are of a fair skin tone, I suggest mixing both “Champagne Pop” & “Prosecco Pop” together, because just “Prosecco Pop” alone may be too yellow on the skin for you light skinned ladies. The formulation of Becca’s shimmering skin perfectors are some of the best in the market. They give you an out of this world glow that can be seen from outer space! The luminescent pearls and crushed gemstones only help amplify your natural radiance. As for the packaging of this product, one word – STUNNING! If you follow Jaclyn Hill’s Youtube channel or any of her social media, than just by looking at this palette – you know it has her style written all over it! The colors of the actual palette (white, gold & silver) are definitely right up Jaclyn’s alley! This palette exudes good quality and looks pretty expensive, it’s very comparable to Tom Ford’s packaging in look and weight. A big perk is the gigantic mirror on the inside of the palette making it perfect for travel and makeup application in any hotel room. I mean from the pictures below you guys can probably already tell its well worth the $52.00 price tag for the what you’ll be receiving. It’s an excellent palette both in packaging and actual product. 10 stars wouldn’t be enough of a rating in my opinion! I do want to also get the eye shadow palette from this collection, I have my eye on this next! Were you able to score any of the items in this collection? If so, what do you think? Comments are welcomed below!
