This absolutely stunning chocolate inspired palette from Too Faced Cosmetics had been on my beauty radar for a while now. Last week, I decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase this item from Sephora and boy am I happy I did. These 16 eyeshadows were especially formulated with cocoa powder which means, it smells like chocolate! The faint smell of chocolate as you open the palette is light and not overbearing. The packaging of the palette itself is of a huge chocolate bar! How much more alluring can it get? This is a chocolate lover’s dream! Enclosed you have a great selection of rich and warm browns, neutrals and pops of shimmering/matte colors. All the shadows are of a buttery texture and effortlessly glide on the lid for a beautiful eye look and maximum color payoff whether you want to stick to a more natural gaze or glam it up for a night out! Another PRO is that Too Faced is a “Cruelty Free” brand which means they don’t test on animals, always a plus! The only CON I had with this palette is that the “White Chocolate” shadow was a bit too soft and fragile. It easily separates when I dip my brush into it to get some color, which is a shame because it is a beautiful neutral.
