Just in time for Thanksgiving tomorrow, here is a list of my most recent beauty obsessions! All details and reviews are listed below for your convenience. If you decide to get one or all items from my mini collage, please note – they are all definitely worth it! Or if you’ve been skeptical about purchasing one of the below, I hope my opinion helps guide you in the right direction!
P.S. Hope you guys enjoy the sleeker new layout/logo of Chic Avenue Daily as much as I do, the site needed a mini makeover. Still needs a little more work as there are some things I’d like to add within the next couple of months, but for now this will do just fine!
Happy Early Thanksgiving if you don’t hear from me tomorrow! 😀
1. MAC Cosmetics – “Fix +” – Great spritz full of vitamins and minerals that leaves the skin looking radiant…you can apply it on your face before or after makeup application as a refresher or to help set your makeup…I also use this to apply foundation by spraying some on a beauty blender…this spritz is also great when you put on your eyeshadow or loose pigments by spraying some on your brush, picking up the color and then applying to the lid for long lasting wear…I would say the only thing I didn’t like about this was how it sprayed from the bottle, wish it would spritz more like a mist from the nozzle instead of a hard flow…
2. Burt’s Bees – “Facial Cleansing Towelettes With White Tea Extract” – These wipes are simply amazing!…Removes makeup, dirt and oil and helps tone the skin with its white tea extract…the soothing aloe also helps refresh and smooth the skin after a long day….Can’t get enough of this product, I’ve been using it the last 3 months and it has replaced my holy grail Neutrogena makeup removal wipes! And the fact that these products are all natural makes this even sweeter!
3. Fresh – “Soy Face Cleanser” – Gently removes all impurities from your face including makeup and mascara!….Rich in amino acids, soy protein and rose water, it helps skin elasticity and firmness…It’s also supposed to be fragrance free, but you can definitely smell the plant extracts in this which I’m not much of a fan of…Don’t get me wrong it’s not an unpleasant smell, just not one I like much…
4. Living Proof – “Prime Style Extender” – Is this line of products on the more expensive side?! Yup!, but is it totally worth it?! Yup!…So far every hair care product I’ve tried from Living Proof has been spectacular!…This style extender is a primer that helps your hairstyle last twice as long!…Its smooths and corrects your hair texture and is great for touch ups!
