Tomorrow October 21st, 2013 is my 2nd year Wedding Anniversary and as tradition my husband and I went out for a lovely meal to celebrate another year of being happily married. Although we have been married only 2 years, we have been together a total of 8 years. So it goes without saying that with each passing year we grow even closer together. Like any other female, I wanted to look amazing for our night out on the town. We went to my favorite little italian restaurant downtown in the west village “Palma”, same place I went to for my birthday 3 weeks ago with my close friends. I chose this restaurant because I love the romantic candlelit atmosphere. The food is excellent as well as the table service. They are extremely attentive and the garden in the back patio is breathtaking to look at as you dine. For my ensemble, I wanted to look sexy and sophisticated so instantly I thought of Bloomingdale’s. I went on their website and found 3 options in their sale section. Since I couldn’t choose, I sent my husband pictures of the looks and had him decide his favorite one. He chose the below beautiful Lauren by Ralph Lauren, three quarter sleeve/crew neck dress that was to die for! The printed gold chain-links and burgundy/green belts were very regal looking. The cut of the dress sat right below the knee and helped create an extremely flattering fit, it made me look about 5lbs thinner which is never a bad thing LOL! I paired the dress up with a camel colored brazilian calf hair/leather belt with gold trim also Ralph Lauren to help cinch in the waist. The shoes were a last minute splurge and gift from my husband to complete the outfit. I went to the DSW by my job after work and found these gorgeous nude colored patent leather flats from Via Spiga that I just had to have! The triple straps with adjustable buckles were a definite plus! And they were marked down from almost $200 retail to $99.95! The 3/4 blocked heel is a pleasant surprise as it’s not just your regular cookie-cutter flat shoe. All in all, I had a terrific night out with my main man and got shiny new items to add to my ever growing closet!
