As most females know by now, especially if you haven’t been living under a rock the last few months, The Rihanna & MAC Collaboration launched this week on Thursday: October 3rd, 2013. The “RiRi Hearts M.A.C” Fall Collection has been available only 3 days and has pretty much totally sold out in store and online! I went to Macy’s when I got off the train Friday around 9am before work as its about a 5 minute walking distance from my job, and the MAC display for this line looked so sad and empty, barely anything left lol! I was lucky to get my hands on only 2 pieces, the powder blush duo compact in hibiscus kiss which is a lovely bronzy/bright pink cheek combo great for contouring or a touch of color when you’re feeling pale. And RiRi Woo matte red lipstick which is pretty much a rub off of my all-time favorite red shade from MAC “Ruby Woo” just with a bit more of a blue undertone. Although these aren’t new products because they came out in her summer collection and got re-packaged for the Fall, they’re still pretty gorgeous to look at plus I never ended up getting them the first time around. I am so in love with the rose gold/hot pink shiny packaging Rihanna created for this line! It’s so girly and it looks super expensive! It’s really beautiful and a nice slice of fresh air for MAC because some of their packaging can get tiring and played out. I’m hoping I can get a few more products within the next few weeks once the craziness dies down and they re-stock!
