Today I was totally excited to finally try out products from NYX Cosmetics. I purchased this makeup at my local beauty supply store, but I believe they sell them at the local drugstores as well. All fairly priced, good quality/quantity and nicely packaged I couldn’t wait to get my hands a few things to further discuss with you all! See below for a more detailed review of my finds…

1.NYX – “Butter Gloss” In Color: BLG08 Apple Strudel – $4.99 – PROS: Color is absolutely beautiful and blends in well with many different skin tones especially if you just got a little spray tan, smells delicious, goes on smoothly, long lasting…CONS: Gloss is a little on the thick side, but it’s an easy fix by just applying a nice small even amount.

2. NYX – “Soft Matte Lip Cream” In Color: SMLC01 Amsterdam – $4.99 – PROS: Lip cream glides on silky, but looks completely matte after application, color is a lovely rose red perfect for a nice evening dinner out, smells great just like their lip glosses…CONS: Wish the lip cream would dry out faster for longer lasting wear .

3. MYX – “Natural Eye Shadow Palette” – $6.99 – PROS: The colors included in this kit are simply fantastic! I am a huge fan of neutral shades so this palette is right up my alley!, easy on the pockets – 6 different shades for $6.99 is a total steal!, with a good eyeshadow primer color will last all day, probably one of my favorite palettes behind Urban Decay “Naked 2”, No CONS to discuss!
